laser protection adviser services Laser Protection Adviser (LPA)
for Private Health and Beauty

Independent healthcare businesses using lasers or Intense Light Sources must be registered with the Care Quality Commission, CQC (England) or the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales, HIW. A requirement of registration is that a certificated Laser Protection Adviser (LPA) be appointed. Our services satisfy this necessity at competitive rates.

Initial visit

Once appointed, your LPA will set to work helping your business successfully meet the conditions for registration. This would usually include an initial visit to your premises to assess the equipment, facility and help with the administrative requirements (risk assessments, local rules, safety training, etc.)

Continued support

Once your facility is up and running, the LPA can be appointed on an ongoing basis to provide continual support. An annual review of the facility and equipment will also be undertaken and a written laser protection summary report issued.
