On-Site Bespoke Laser Safety Training Sessions
An effective method of providing staff groups with laser safety information and fulfilling the training requirements of the latest UK regulations. Ideal for staff or students that do not necessarily need safety management training but maybe use low risk laser equipment or work in areas where lasers are used by others.
An example might be 'Assisting Staff' working in an operating theatre (medical lasers). The duration of the training is flexible, but typically we find most operational training can be delivered in around an hour.

Nature of the hazard and health effects
Brief legal background
Local risk management
Local safety controls and working practices
Understanding of 'Local Rules'
What to do in case of an incident (eye strike)
Proper use of PPE (eyewear)
