Written policy and procedure

Written policies and procedures are useful for the following reasons,

Legal compliance
Complement other training methods
Consistency of service

There's no set format for these but an example 3 tier system is listed below;

1. Health and Safety policy (legal requirement if employing 5 or more people)

2. General laser safety procedures (e.g. 'local rules' or 'method statement')

3. Specific work instructions on treatment procedure (e.g. 'treatment protocol', or 'standard operating procedure (SOP)')
