Laser training:Core of Knowledge Course Duration

The MHRA guidance suggests that the Core of Knowledge "Course lectures should total at least 3 hours". Whilst it is physically possible to deliver a straight 3 hours laser safety session, we would suggest you set aside 4 hours to allow for breaks!

Laser training:Course target participants

The course is ideal for laser protection supervisor (LPS)/laser safety officer (LSO) or those planning to undertake this role. We can also provide shorter laser safety training sessions or update courses where appropriate.

The term 'core of knowledge' is defined in the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) guidance publication, DB2008(03), April 2008
